About Us
The Stroke Recovery Association of Barrie and District is a registered charity committed to empowering stroke survivors and their families on their journey toward recovery. Founded in 1983 by stroke survivors and their loved ones, our organization has grown into a community where support, understanding, and resilience come together. Guided by dedicated volunteers, who assist with every aspect of our services.

Our mission is to provide resources, social engagement, and adaptive rehabilitation activities to help survivors rebuild strength and foster a supportive network. Volunteers are essential to the success of our programs, and their dedication enables us to continue offering vital services to the community.
